The Northern Illinois Association of Health Underwriters (NIAHU), which meets the 3rd Tuesday of every month at the Randall Oaks Golf Club in West Dundee, was formed in September of 2004.

NIAHU is a local chapter of the Illinois State Association of Health Underwriters (ISAHU) and the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU). NAHU, “America’s Benefits Specialists”, was founded in 1930. Its membership is comprised of agents/brokers, consultants, carrier representatives, representatives of TPAs and other benefits industry firms such as PBMs, stop loss carriers, etc., worksite marketing specialists, and long term care and disability insurance wholesalers.
